The
Cattaneo STRAIGHTENERS have been designed to
straighten materials of various thicknesses depending
upon the model selected.
IIn the standard version, the loop is controlled by a
proximity detector which functions as a start and stop
control at he end of the preset time.
An additional switch is provided to protect from a tight
loop emergency.
In the (OPTIONAL) variable speed version the
lower proximity functions as a stop, when the strip
enters the range of the upper proximity switch, the
speed increases automatically.
The rollers are manufactured from hardened and ground
steel and run on self lubricating bearings.
The
Straightener is adjusted to suit different materials by
manual hand wheels as standard and a motorised option is
also available. Particular attention was given on the
flexibility of our strip straightener. Our special
system with flexible wheelbase gives the possibility to
work with different large strip width
